Fixhdr not modifying headers (2020.212)
Test environment was installed on Oct 1, on MacOS 10.14.6
Fixhdr will create a trace db normally.
When headers are modified, either on the trace headers tab or by using global set on the global modify tab and then the trace headers tab, the popup 'Modifying Headers' shows as normal, and the normal progress shows at the bottom of the fixhdr GUI. The log shows that the file(s) has/have been modified:
Multiple errors per file print to stdout that there was an 'error writing fixed header'. The attached rtf shows the error messages printed for the attempt to modify the headers of the file shown in the log screenshot above. fixhdr_errors_1mseedfile.rtf
After the attempt is made to modify the headers, the bottom strip of the GUI turns yellow, instead of turning green and stating something like 'Modified traces in x files'. However, when the modified SNCL is re-selected on the dropdown, the 'Applied' checkbox to the right is still green.
I was not able to definitively reproduce a problem with changing the Time tag is questionable to set, but I will update when I have either reproduced it or definitively not been able to do so.
A few example files are attached. (I hope.) FYI that I have been using them for testing and there is a slight chance I did not modify them back to their original state (using another version of fixhdr) before uploading them here. SB03.6E..EHZ.2015.312
